mother's little helper

generic mother's little helpers. made in hong kong.

If there is one drug - above all others - I cannot abide it is Valium, or Diazepam.

From Wiki:
"
Diazepam (IPA: /daɪˈæzɨpæm/), first marketed as Valium by Hoffmann-La Roche, is a benzodiazepine derivative drug. It possesses anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant and amnestic properties. It is commonly used for treating anxiety, insomnia, seizures, alcohol withdrawal, and muscle spasms. It may also be used before certain medical procedures (such as endoscopies) to reduce tension and anxiety, and in some surgical procedures to induce amnesia. Diazepam is a core medicine in the World Health Organization's "Essential Drugs List", which is a list of minimum medical needs for a basic health care system. Diazepam is used to treat a wide range of conditions and has been one of the most frequently prescribed medications in the world for the past 40 years. It was first synthesized by Dr. Leo Sternbach."

I despise the way it induces relatively stable and coherent individuals
to behave like mumbling, emotionally retarded and antagonistic assholes, and - worse - its augmented effect on already borderline imbeciles. I cannot remotely comprehend the attraction in using this suppressant recreationally.

I mention this merely in passing to underline a niggling irritability I've harboured for some time. Despite my better judgement.

If you happen to stumble upon this brief post by accident - in passing - as somebone who thinks it halcyon fun to drop this prescription medication as the ideal precursor to a night out, allow me to apologise.

Now, fuck off.

I don't know why someone would take it before a night out... but if you just wanted to sleep for a few days - drop out completely and forget your troubles. 20 to 30 mgs of Valium is just the trick. Not bad for flying either, if you don;t mind feeling groggy the next day.

I don't know why someone would take it before a night out either. But some people do; it's like Dawn of the Dead round here.

My mother took these in combination with sleeping pills for the last ten years or so of her life. Forget the "yoof of today" it is the older generation who are the real junkies popping pills at every opportunity "to get them through the Day". No wonder I avoid Doctor's like the plague

(that bloody word verification now I've got "pardiper" this is either a charecter out of Dickens or a poor golfer

Benzos and Heroin went perfectly together for me. Lots of cokeheads like V's too because it takes off the edge.

Hope you're doing well

"Pardiper"; How about a Dickensian golfer on Laudenum ?

Frank:

Good to hear from you. I'm fine but just a little grouchy.

Nazz:

You have style in abundance. All we require now is a couple of bottles of Absinthe and some powdered Yagé.

Ha! Mandrax somehow sounds more refined than Valium, for some curious linguistic reason.

Was that where "I'm Mandy, Fly Me" came from, I wonder ?

Coke and valium?
That can't be good for the old ticker.

Too close to speedballin', I agree. Better to touch down on the grass with some sparkly Bob James.

Serving up Yage over at my place.

Won't keep the wind out from around the enchassement though.

A shorter prison sentence would be 'not guilty'.

Been lurking around while posting stuff up, just hella busy right now, getting ready for Mister Wintard.

Hey, nate. I noticed the Bill Nelson stuff and passed the link along to someone I knew would be over the moon.

After the Obama election everybody in blogland appears to be a little emotionally drained. Like the morning after a marathon bash where inhibitions lie in tatters.

'Not guilty' would have been shorter and sweeter!
