I've listened to Phil May & The Fallen Angels, but never unzi(a)pped the Electric Banana.
I made a valiant attempt many years ago to watch The Trip. I did not succeed.
No, Mr. HCI, I've never managed to sit through the movie myself; lightweight that I am. The trip scene is "Easy Rider" was nicely staged, however.
If you haven't tripped out walking over a bridge like the guy in The Trip does you have not lived.
I dunno Ib. As bad psychedelic music goes, that was a little too tasteful. It certainly is bad though! Of course, I mean that in a good way.
Beer, I was going to reply that most of my trips have taken place behind closed doors, but that's not strictly true. Is the bridge you are referring to the one closed recently as a result of failing timber, perchance ?
Jon: definitely bad in a good way. I've been enjoying 'Green & Gold" especially. Brings to mind "Florida Fantasy" from Midnight Cowboy and, for some reason, the films of Sam Peckinpah. Must be the Tex-Mex brass. It's just a shame it doesn't really ever breakout of that perfunctory wedding band groove.
