Great song.

Decades later, "I used to be disgusted, but now I only get amused" ended up on t-shirts and bumper stickers here in the States, completely out of context. It would be weird seeing one of the bumper stickers on the back of some farm boy's pick-up truck, knowing that the owner probably never heard of Elvis Costello. It was just a novelty phrase by then.

Great song and line, definitely, from an album crammed choc full of 'em.

Funny about the bumper stickers and t-shirts.

Good to hear from you, man. I've been lurking around here only of late like a mopey teenager; a situation I intend to remedy soon.

I've been kinda slacking off more than usual lately, myself. Good thing no one counts on me for anything.
