sabbath bloody sabbath
black box detail.
mapledurham watermill, 1970.
It is Sunday. Again. The yawning begins in earnest.
Four from Messers Iommi, Butler, Ward and Osbourne. A group seriously underrated and consistently maligned by many people who should know better.
In my absence yesterday I whiled away an hour or two playing Running-With-Scissors\’ \”Postal 2\”. Outdated, but still big fun.
Between 1970 and 1975 Black Sabbath produced some brilliant stuff. The last one here featured prominently in Emmet\’s superb Christmas mix tape from 2007. Great song from a good album, housed in quite possibly the worse sleeve design of all time. Almost as skull crushingly entertaining as Motörhead and Brazillian stormtroopers, Sepultura.
Different Strokes. Do it for Gary Coleman.
Do It Over for the Ardship of Cambry. And the Bernt Arse pack.
