the greatest story ever told

[mass hysteria]

Go tell it on the mountain. The circus is still in town; and that means clowns, brothers and sisters. Jugglers and clowns.

I want to throw up. Over and over until there is wholly
f@cking nothin' left.

Calling it a circus doesn't do it justice. Freak show is more like it.

Perhaps the Residents should have been invited to perform a tribute. Resplendent in matching white socks and gloves, they could have moonwalked us through a Freak Show extravaganza complete with high pitched squeals and ominous off-stage baritones.

The 'Ultra Commercial Album' might have been a bestselling multimedia spin-off.

The notorious wooden Indian, eh ?

"He always wore his Sunday feathers and held a tomahawk..."

Apposite, indeed.
