With much of his first album for new label, Arista rendered all but unlistenable by some horrendous production - punctuated by an unhealthy reliance on synthesizer and tinny drum machine patterns - one could easily dispense with the LP proper and shell out instead on its two 45's; this being the first.
In the aftermath of his 'divorce' from David Bowie, the decision to delegate production to former Stooge, James Williamson might - in hindsight - have been unwise.
