sibling whispers #20: bocca di lupo

in the maw of the wolf.

Well. You might want to check out Bocca Di Lupo, home to The Wolfmen; a pack animal born of Marco Pirroni and Chris Constantinou in 2005 after decades of flirting with rock n' roll excess and the spoils of the kill on the margins of the wilderness. Their new site officially launches today, and after leaving their pawprint in the comments section to yesterday's post on Ian Hunter and Mott, it would be remiss of me to let the occasion pass by without honorable mention.

Illustration by Berni Wrightson, DC's "Weird Mystery" #21, August 1975.

I saw their debut show about 18 months ago totally blew me away and I've been on buzz about them ever since

"Boca Di Lupo" is a great name for their blog.

I was never really much of an Ants fan, in all honesty, but I definitely have fond recollections of the Models and that first incarnation of Siouxsie & The Banshees in the aftermath of the London SS. Almost as legendary as the Spots.

Don't remember The Models or Rema Rema is it? But The Wolfies and their two fisted glam-pop-punk are well worth checking out - you can taste test them via their youtube page.. Have you heard Two Eyes with Dala Mehndi, like Blitzkrieg Bop goes Bhangra

Thanks for the link. As usual, I am woefully out of touch...

"Blitzkrieg Bop goes Bhangra" sounds like my kind of bag!
