Yes, the one and same. And very much alive; in the event I was misleading. Not simply a cartoonist; commercial artist; and writer. But musician too. And sometime compiler.
I have his Antiquack, Dead Duck selection in a rather beautifully presented gatefold.
I'm always loving his artwork & his comps...got quite a few...especially like Savage Pencil presents Angel Dust (music for movie bikers) with Davie Allan & the Arrows, Harley Hatcher, The Poor, The Hogs to name a few (also great sound-bite from 60s type biker movies interspersed).
I remember buying the Lurkers' "Freak Show" 45 'cos I liked SP's sleeve.
